In February 2017, at the invitation of the Cultural Representation of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Sofia, a delegation of Bulgarian journalists visited the Islamic Republic of Iran. The purpose of the trip was to get acquainted with life in this country today and to establish contacts with colleagues from the Iranian media.
The impressions of one-week stays for Iran's economic, social, cultural and media development are already shared in a series of materials.
Opening - 15th of June, 5.30 p.m.
The artist presents a series of 15 works created in the last few years and also four photographs taken in 2017. A part of the works is related to specific places in Bulgaria and was created specifically for this exhibition. The collection is also enriched by a video installation called „The Words of the Earth“.
The works are related to the concept of „geophysics“, which combines the territory as a geographical location and its meaning, and was introduced in the 1990s by the French philosophers Gilles Deliez and Felix Gatari.

The Association of Professional Photographers (Bulgaria) with the cooperation of the Union of Bulgarian Journalists, the Union of Bulgarian Artists and gallery-bookstore Sofia Press presents an exhibition of the National association of professionals in the photo industry (Russia)
This is a young Russian association, uniting in its ranks professionals of all professions in the photo industry.
Opening - 9th of February, 6 p.m.
The exhibition presents 62 black and white images merged into two open cycles: „Fruits of the Earth“ - 36 photographs of flowers and fruits, shot in the period 2014 - 2016, and „Fruit of Love“ - 26 portraits from the period 2002-2016, which the author says that they are „conceptually exhibited in groups of peculiar juxtapositions of similarities and difference between natural objects and people occupying a special place in my life and memory.“

The exhibition Light in the eyes - dust on the feet is a photo report of the art critic Plamena Dimitrova-Racheva of South India (Kerala and Tamilnadu). The photos are taken during the study tour for Indian culture and religion organized by Galina Sokolova in specialty "Indology" in Sofia in the period from 25th of October to 9th of November 2015.
Opening - 17th of September, 6 p.m.
A company of talented artists from three art academies in Razgrad barracks during one hot summer of 1957.
"The year is 1957. By the order of Peter Panchevski, Minister of Defence of the Government of Anton Yugov (and the only one Bulgarian with a general's rank in the Red Army of the Soviet Union - Major-General of engineering troops!!!) three academies will have to send students who are accepted to follow, but not obligatory military service, a summer camp in H-pean division in Razgrad. During the two semesters were studied in two afternoons a week warfare by so-called "Department 22".

The exhibition features 60 photographs of Shanghai city, which provide to the Bulgarian audience the opportunity to be immersed in the charm of this cosmopolitan city and get acquainted with its traditions and contemporary sound.

"Instants" is an exhibition comprising several series of large format photographs - portraits of the great Bulgarian actress Zlatina Todeva.
The fragile image of her nakedness shows an old age and the body before being abandoned. The individual series pass from intimacy and longing and reach the sanctity.
The photographs were taken in January 2007, immediately before Zlatina Todeva to depart from this world. They sealed her image for one last time.
Opening - 10th of March, 6 p.m.
Georgi Neykov presents its last photographs united under the title „(Non) accidental photographs” in Rayko Alexiev Gallery in Sofia. In the exhibition there will be more than 60 unique silver prints made in the last 20 years in Bulgaria and USA.
The photograph is working in the field of conceptual photography and the digital technique isn’t attracting him at all so he shoots with a mechanical photo camera.
