The Trace for People Foundation, a part of the Trace Group Hold family, presents Bulgarian artists in Belgrade.

The directions of eight Bulgarian artists, the directions of our lives, our quests in the endless incarnations of the spirit and wandering find their port in the capital of Serbia Belgrade. There are presented works by Lyuben Genov, Dimitar Grozdanov, Vasilka Moneva, Nikolay Yanakiev, Dolores Dilova, Rumen Nechev and Stanimir Zhelev. Among the participants is the photographer Ivo Hadjimishev.

In the beginning - contemporary Bulgarian artists

The Young Bulgarian Artists Group was created to support gifted artists at the beginning of their journey and to show what they created as graduates at the National Art Academy as well as immediately after completing their education. The platform will follow their development because we are confident in their undisputed talent and hope they are accepted and appreciated by the audience in Bulgaria and abroad.

In 2015, on the idea and courtesy of Mr. Todor Staykov*, began the selection of painters from departments „Painting“ and „Sculpture“. The jury members: Acad. Svetlin Rusev, Prof. Valentin Starchev, Prof. Dessislava Mincheva, Prof. Stanislav Pamukchiev, Prof. Emil Popov, Prof. Vihroni Popnedelev and Prof. Angel Stanev nominated several graduating students whose works are distinguished by a large artistry, professionalism and creativity.

Exhibition 5 - Branimir Antonov

Branimir Antonov does not refer to his exhibitions just as he does not name his works, but numbers them. Each new piece of work is the stage of a process of search and entry into itself.

In his exhibition he presents 28 abstract works in his characteristic technique.

Lyubomir Savinov

This exhibition is planned by the artist as jubilee. Selected at almost random, in his words, the works are from different creative periods and represent a small part of his collection of nearly 2000 paintings.

Lubomir Savinov was born on 2nd of  September 1941 in Sofia. In 1970, he graduated Decorative and Monumental Painting at the National Academy of Fine Arts in the class of Prof. Georgi Bogdanov.

Violeta Grivishka - Taneva (1937 - 2017)

This exhibition is a retrospective of the work of the artist Violeta Grivishka-Taneva.

The exhibition includes prints and drawings created during her long creative journey - from the beginning of the 1960s to 2017. There will be presented works from the collections of Iliya Beshkov Art Gallery - Pleven, Sofia City Art Gallery, UBA, as well as unshown works from the author's personal collection.

The thoughtful beginning is a hallmark of the work of Violeta Grivishka. Implemented in a variety of graphic techniques and materials, with accurately painted and clear detail, her prints bring us into a cosmic, ritual, symbolic space, where the rational themes of mythology and Christian religion, folk traditions, parables, and legends get a modern graphic expression.

Exhibition of Lili Dimkova

On the eve of her 85th birthday, the famous artist Lili Dimkova will show her latest paintings, together with works painted at different times in her life.

Lili Dimkova is the daughter of the healer Petar Dimkov and her worldview is formed under his influence. All the spiritual images she recreates are as much from the past as from the future, according to her words.

A hundred moods of the sea - pastel exhibition of Strahil Nenov

The exhibition of Strahil Nenov shows one of the directions of his work. In hundreds of paintings painted with dry pastel, the author captures the diversity of the marine landscape and the feelings that the proximity to the sea provokes.

Strahil Nenov was born in 1960 in Sofia. After the Art School he graduated the Nationa; Art Academy, Mural Painting Department in the class of Toma Varbanov. He works in the field of monumental art - stained glass and mosaic, as well as the cavalry - painting and pastel. He draws still life, landscapes and portraits.

DEVIATIONS - EXHIBITION OF NILS NOVA

Nils Nova was born in 1968 in El Salvador. In 1981 he moves to Switzerland with his family (Swiss mother and Salvadorian father), where he is working till the present day.

His rich artistic biography includes numerous single and group exhibitions, among which participation in La Biennale di Venezia in 2009 (Mundus Novus, Arsenale, 53.); Museo experimental El Eco, Mexico, 2016; Translation of Reflexion, Galerie Gabrielle Maubrie, Paris, 2005; Super Natural, Galerie Urs Meile, Switzerland, 2005; Nova – Manor-Kunstpreis Kunstmuseum Luzern, Switzerland, 2002, as well as other group and curatorial projects, such as Nova Zembla in Bikini, Hans & Fritz Contemporary, Barcelona, Spain, 2017; Surfaces Neue Fotografie Aus der Schweiz, 2014, Fotomuseum Winterthur; Swiss Art Awards, Messe Basel, 2005, etc.

The Gallery bookstore „Sofia Press" presents works of painting plain air, held for the second time from 25th of September to 1st of October 2016 in camping Porto Elea - Sithonia, Greece.
