Ivan Manoylov was born on 7th of March 1943 in Lom. He works in the field of landscape, portrait and figural composition.
His works are owned by the National Art Gallery and galleries in Smolyan, Blagoevgrad, Rousse, Dobrich, Vratsa, Montana, Lom, as well as in private collections in Bulgaria, Germany, Austria, Greece, England, USA, Israel, Argentina and others.
Member of the UBA since 1982.

The artist presents a series of 15 works created in the last few years and also four photographs taken in 2017. A part of the works is related to specific places in Bulgaria and was created specifically for this exhibition. The collection is also enriched by a video installation called „The Words of the Earth“.
The works are related to the concept of „geophysics“, which combines the territory as a geographical location and its meaning, and was introduced in the 1990s by the French philosophers Gilles Deliez and Felix Gatari.

In the exhibition „Arakel“ are presented he artists Petar Stanimirov, Rumen Chaushev, Penko Gelev, Dimo Stoyanov - Dimo, Evgeni Yordanov and Sotir Gelev. It reflects their work on the graphic novel Arakel. This album is an experiment - six artists draw a story, conditionally divided into parts and each one has chosen the part suits his current mood the best.

The Gallery bookstore „Sofia Press" presents works of painting plain air, held for the second time from 25th of September to 1st of October 2016 in camping Porto Elea - Sithonia, Greece.
In this edition participated the following artists: Vasilka Moneva, Dolores Dilova, Dimitar Grozdanov, Lyuben Genov, Nikolai Yanakiev, Rumen Nechev and Ivo Hadjimishev.

The Association of Professional Photographers (Bulgaria) with the cooperation of the Union of Bulgarian Journalists, the Union of Bulgarian Artists and gallery-bookstore Sofia Press presents an exhibition of the National association of professionals in the photo industry (Russia)
This is a young Russian association, uniting in its ranks professionals of all professions in the photo industry.
Opening - 16t of March, 6 - 8 p.m.
The tandem Jordan Pankov (J.Pank) and Stefan Petrunov called their exposure GBP (THE GREAT BEAUTY | PROJECT) with aim to open a wide field for its definition by moisture and a sense of irony (no direct references to Sorrentino).
Both artists highlight of his fondness for modern and a taste for pop art. Their ideas are related to the interpretation of contemporary problems by making parallels with the story, but "The Great Beauty" runs like a red thread on different levels.

The presented paintings were created specifically for this exhibition. The selected title - "interior and exterior" gives me freedom and a way to outline the directions on that work - space, color sense, the transformation of nature into abstraction. It aims to show the path of de-contextualization of the real object to its nominal essence. Interior and exterior - that's all that surrounds us.

The exhibition Light in the eyes - dust on the feet is a photo report of the art critic Plamena Dimitrova-Racheva of South India (Kerala and Tamilnadu). The photos are taken during the study tour for Indian culture and religion organized by Galina Sokolova in specialty "Indology" in Sofia in the period from 25th of October to 9th of November 2015.
Opening - 11th of January, 6 p.m.
The Gallery-bookstore "Sofia Press" began the year with an exhibition, which is entitled "Beginning." The exhibition includes 24 works from the glass of two artists: Katya Popova and Nikola Enev. The exhibition manages to combine fragile and elusive balance of themes, ideas and temperament. The works were specially made for the gallery space in 2016 and by its specific language expressed reveal new internal spacw and tell parables for elevation and enlightenment of mind.

In this exhibition participate about 40 authors - the textile artists and artists from other disciplines using textile materials and techniques, as well as guests from Germany, Serbia, Slovenia and Canada.
The fabric as a material with specific and unique capabilities take part more widely in contemporary art. Authors such as Michelangelo Pistoleto, Magdalena Abakanowicz, Christian Boltanski, Christo and many others use textile and textile products burdening them with diverse sense and assign them multiple tasks.
