Exhibition of Lyuben Kostov
Lyuben Kostov, one of the most important and big names in the beggining of the bulgarian non-conventional art presents his next exhibition on the 3rd floor of the UBA Gallery at Shipka 6.
The exhibtion shows works from different periods - we can start with his wooden machines that had become emblematic and traditional for his art and we can finish with his latest works - the masks. The public had the possibility to see a part of them and Arosita Gallery during his solo exhibitions Shelters, that had finished with a great success for the author. In its present exhibition he presents not only wooden masks but also metal ones that proves once again his experimental spirit in the field of the different materials and forms of expression.
Lyuben kostov was born in 22nd of September 1952 in Pleven. He graduates in 1989 the Veliko Turnovo's University St. St. Cyril and Methodius, Mural painting speciality, Faculty of Fine arts in the class of Nikola Gelov. He is one of the founders and a secretary of Section 13 in UBA.
